Check that the folder is owned by the fmserver (FileMaker Server only) or claris (Claris Server only) user or in the fmsadmin (FileMaker Server only) or claris (Claris Server only) group and has read and write permissions. Admin Console may fail to validate a folder path because the folder does not have the correct permissions. If you get an error message that the path is not valid, check the ownership and permissions of the folder.
